Thank you to all our listeners who tuned in for this weeks edition of the Confundable
Willows Radio Show with Neckface the Asthmatic at a new additional Sidewok Radio
studio!! Yes, that’s right!! Although there is no official name for the studio,
it was quite a fresh premiere. And of course, we can’t forget the special appearance
by the infamous DJ PRESTO, blessing our Willowers with the Dollar Bin Laden

joined the broadcast with his ever entertaining comedic insight. Special shout

Segundo, Mion, & the Yeah Yeah Yeahs! Please support these Asian / Pacific
Islander artists by visiting their sites. Just click on the album covers below. Peace!!

THM – Slowly but surely

This week started off a little slow for the HeteroMezz but didn’t stop the jams flowin. The cover corner was in full effect with an 80’s vibe, showcasing covers from The Cure, Joy Division and Crowded House just to name a few. The Mohawkian Princess also featured FannyPack this week- nostalgic from her NYC/Brooklyn adventure. Bobadave also had a block of some of his favorite new sounds. Thanks to all who listen and support the Heterogeneous Mezzanine!!! Listen and enjoy!

THM feat. Golda Supernova and the Comic Book Heroes

Golda and the Comic Book Heroes, first caught The Heterogeneous Mezzanine’s eyes and ears at an Open Mic, hosted by Revival Arts, and sponsored by Sidewok.com. Their “early no doubt” punk sound rocked Paddy’s Coffee in Union City. The band couldn’t supply the crowd with enough CDs for purchase, after the performance, as the crowd seem to rush the stage to grab copy of their EP. Even the response during our live broadcast was outstanding. By far the most positive feedback we’ve gotten for a local norcal artist, as listeners blasted out AOL instant messenger requesting more information. Be sure to check out this up and coming band.

Returning as featured artists, are some bands you’ve heard in the past on The Hetereogeneous Mezzanine: Hip Nova, Goh Nakamura, Sistine.

Also featured on THM, is one of Sidewok Radio’s favorite new artists of 2005, Eisley. First, catching Sidewok’s eye on tour with Coldplay, and head lining there own show at Slim’s in San Francisco, Eisley brings a unique blend of mellow alternative rock, melodic vocals (almost in a country diva style), with beautiful poetic lyrics. This is one band of three stylish young girls, a brother, and a friend, that you should keep your ear’s out for. Be sure to check them out on our rebroadcast (for Apr. 18, 2005)!
